About the Role
CrowdStrike is looking for a Network Reliability Engineer with advanced technical skills in networking, systems, tooling, and automation, who knows how to leverage AI to enhance operations. The role focuses on implementing, maintaining, and optimizing AI‑powered tools and platforms that enhance network monitoring, alerting, and incident response across our hyper‑scale hybrid cloud infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Deploy and configure AI‑powered network monitoring, alerting, and analytics platforms.
- Implement and maintain AI‑driven anomaly detection systems for proactive network correlation and issue identification.
- Configure and optimize automated remediation workflows using intelligent platforms and existing tools.
- Ensure network telemetry and metrics are integrated with machine learning platforms for effective analysis.
- Fine‑tune alerting systems to reduce noise and improve signal quality for network operations.
- Utilize smart correlation tools to accelerate incident detection and resolution processes.
- Support and maintain AI‑enhanced infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Identify opportunities to enhance network operations through better utilization of intelligent automation capabilities.
- Create and maintain documentation for automated procedures, configurations, and best practices.
- Work with Network Engineering and TechOps teams to integrate intelligent solutions into existing workflows.
- Participate in a 24x7 on‑call rotation to ensure continuous support of network operations.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university (equivalent experience considered).
- 5+ years in network operations with at least 2 years working with intelligent monitoring tools or automation platforms.
- 5+ years of experience with large‑scale IP networking technologies and protocols such as BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRF, VxLAN, eVPN, QoS, GRE, IPSec, DNS, MACsec, MPLS (TE, Auto‑BW), and CLOS architectures.
- Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision‑making, streamline workflows, and improve efficiency.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Linux environments and network stack analysis.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar observability tools.
- Ability to interpret machine learning insights and translate them into actionable network operations tasks.
- Experience working with a global team to collaborate and manage operations around the clock.
- Hands‑on experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Python, Terraform, Ansible, YAML, Netconf/YANG, Chef, or Puppet.
- Ability to use independent judgment to make sound, justifiable decisions and act to solve problems.
- Experience integrating with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication of technical detail into succinct, fact‑based business terminology.
- Customer‑focused mindset with demonstrated skill in managing expectations and providing proactive status updates.

- Work experience in data center, telecom, SaaS, or cloud operations companies.
- Experience with lifecycle management of network devices and automated firmware deployment.
- Experience with tools like Moogsoft, BigPanda, Splunk IT Operations, DataDog, or similar AI‑powered monitoring platforms.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP machine learning services and cloud networking.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work independently and meet deadlines.
