Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Network Reliability Engineer to advance our AI-powered network monitoring, anomaly detection, and automated remediation across our hyper-scale hybrid cloud footprint.

You will design and maintain intelligent platforms, integrate telemetry with ML insights, and collaborate with Global Network Engineering and TechOps teams to optimize reliability and performance. This role requires strong Linux skills and 5+ years in network operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in network operations with 2+ years in intelligent monitoring or automation platforms.
• Experience with large scale IP networking technologies and protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRF, VxLAN, eVPN).
• Strong Linux troubleshooting and network stack analysis skills.
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Ability to translate ML insights into actionable network tasks.
• Experience collaborating with global teams and on-call rotations.

About the Role

CrowdStrike is looking for a Network Reliability Engineer with advanced technical skills in networking, systems, tooling, and automation, who knows how to leverage AI to enhance operations. You will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing AI‑powered tools and platforms that enhance our network monitoring, alerting, and incident response capabilities. This role focuses on leveraging intelligent automation solutions to improve network reliability and operational efficiency across our hyper‑scale hybrid cloud infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Deploy and configure AI‑powered network monitoring, alerting, and analytics platforms
• Implement and maintain AI‑driven anomaly detection systems for proactive network correlation and issue identification
• Configure and optimize automated remediation workflows using intelligent platforms and existing tools
• Ensure network telemetry and metrics are properly integrated with machine learning platforms for effective analysis
• Fine‑tune intelligent alerting systems to reduce noise and improve signal quality for network operations
• Utilize smart correlation tools to accelerate incident detection and resolution processes
• Support and maintain AI‑enhanced infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance
• Identify opportunities to enhance network operations through better utilization of intelligent automation capabilities
• Create and maintain documentation for automated procedures, configurations, and best practices
• Work with Network Engineering and TechOps teams to integrate intelligent solutions into existing workflows

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field from an accredited university. Equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years in network operations with 2+ years working with intelligent monitoring tools or automation platforms
• 5+ years of experience working with large scale IP networking technologies and protocols such as: BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRF, VxLAN, eVPN, QoS, GRE, IPSec, DNS, MACsec, MPLS (TE, Auto‑BW), and CLOS Architectures
• Strong troubleshooting skills in Linux environments and network stack analysis
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar observability tools
• Ability to interpret machine learning insights and translate them into actionable network operations tasks
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision‑making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes
• Experience working with a global team to collaborate and manage operations around the clock
• Hands‑on experience with infrastructure‑as‑code using tools such as Python, Terraform, Ansible, YAML, or Netconf/YANG, Chef, Puppet

Bonus Points

• Work experience in data center, telecom, SaaS, or cloud operations companies
• Experience with lifecycle management of network devices to ensure proper vendor support of the network infrastructure as well as automated deployment of device firmware in a safe and repeatable fashion
• Experience with tools like Moogsoft, BigPanda, Splunk IT Operations, DataDog, or similar AI‑powered monitoring platforms
• Ability to communicate technical detail into succinct and fact‑based business terminology, both verbally and in writing
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP machine learning services and cloud networking
• Customer‑focused mindset, with demonstrated skill in managing expectations, providing proactive status updates, and producing high‑quality work products
• Ability to use independent judgment to make sound, justifiable decisions and take action to solve problems
• Experience integrating with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing systems
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work independently and meet deadlines
