Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG in India is seeking a Network Expert to join Connectivity Service team to provide 24x7 operations support in a rotating shift. The role involves installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining networking hardware and software, monitoring performance, and handling incidents within SLAs.

Candidates should have BE/MSc/MCA in CS or related, minimum 4 years of experience, and hands-on experience with Cisco DNAC/ISE, Palo Alto, Aruba, Zscaler, and ITIL processes.

Qualifications

• BE/MSc/MCA in CS or related field is required.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience in networking.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco DNAC/ISE, Palo Alto, Aruba and Zscaler is preferred.
• Strong ITIL processes knowledge and excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, maintain, upgrade, patch, monitor, and troubleshoot networking hardware and software.
• Monitor network performance and generate performance statistics and reports.
• Receive, respond, and resolve incidents within SLAs.
• Perform remote analysis, diagnosis and resolution of complex network problems.
• Schedule and perform network upgrades and repairs; manage network assets.
• Maintain logging, reporting and monitoring procedures; train help desk staff on network issues.
• Conduct security-related updates and audits; support backups and recovery.
• Gain hands-on experience with DNAC, ISE, Palo Alto and security equipment; work in a global, multicultural environment.

This position is for Network Expert to be a part of Connectivity Service team to provide Operations support in 24*7 rotational shift.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, maintain, upgrade, patch, monitor, and troubleshoot networking hardware, software, networked peripheral devices.
• Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports Leveraging toolkits like Solarwinds, Dynatrace and Nexthing
• Receive, respond, and resolve incoming incidents and requests under agreed SLAs.
• Perform remote analyze, diagnosis, and resolution of complex network problems for a variety of end users
• Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs
• Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory
• Prepare, maintain, and adhere to procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring network data
• Liaise with, and provide training and support to, help desk support staff on network issues.
• Perform network equipment updates and respond to security audits
• Perform system backups and recovery
• Operational experience with or immediate on the job training in Zscaler, DNAC and Palo Alto Networks security equipment will need to be achieved.

Qualifications Required:

• BE, MSc, MCA, Computer Science or related discipline.

Experience (Years): Minimum 4 years related experience

Technologies required:

• Experience working on DNAC and ISE ( Cisco ). Expertise on security ( Palo Alto ), wireless technologies ( Aruba ), VPN ( Zscaler ) will be definitely be a plus
• Extensive technical knowledge of Cisco network operating systems and technologies, protocols and standards, networking hardware and software solutions including but not limited to
• Ability to operate network component analyzers, scanners, and testers.
• Hands-on network troubleshooting experience.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes and best practice
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Must be highly-motivated and have a positive attitude
• Excellent listening and customer service skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Must be a team player
• Must be mature and tactful
• Understanding of SLA terms
• Proven track record working in a global and multicultural environment
