Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG in Pune, India, is seeking a Network Expert to join the Connectivity Service team for 24x7 rotational operations. You will install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot networking hardware and software to keep global healthcare services running smoothly.

The role requires 4+ years' experience with Cisco DNAC/ISE, Palo Alto, and VPNs, along with ITIL knowledge and strong communication.

Qualifications

• BE, MSc, MCA, CS or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years related experience
• Fluency in English, written and spoken
• Experience with Cisco DNAC/ISE and Palo Alto security equipment is a plus
• Experience with ITIL processes and best practice

Responsibilities

• Handle incidents and requests within SLAs.
• Perform remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex network problems.
• Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
• Liaise with and train help desk staff on network issues.
• Perform network equipment updates and respond to security audits.
• Perform system backups and recovery.

This position is for Network Expert to be a part of Connectivity Service team to provide Operations support in 24*7 rotational shift.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, maintain, upgrade, patch, monitor, and troubleshoot networking hardware, software, networked peripheral devices.
• Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports Leveraging toolkits like Solarwinds, Dynatrace and Nexthing
• Receive, respond, and resolve incoming incidents and requests under agreed SLAs.
• Perform remote analyze, diagnosis, and resolution of complex network problems for a variety of end users
• Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs
• Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory
• Prepare, maintain, and adhere to procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring network data
• Liaise with, and provide training and support to, help desk support staff on network issues.
• Perform network equipment updates and respond to security audits
• Perform system backups and recovery
• Operational experience with or immediate on the job training in Zscaler, DNAC and Palo Alto Networks security equipment will need to be achieved.

Qualifications Required

• BE, MSc, MCA, Computer Science or related discipline.

Experience (Years):

Minimum 4 years related experience

Technologies Required

• Experience working on DNAC and ISE (Cisco). Expertise on security (Palo Alto), wireless technologies (Aruba), VPN (Zscaler) will be definitely be a plus
• Extensive technical knowledge of Cisco network operating systems and technologies, protocols and standards, networking hardware and software solutions including but not limited to
• Ability to operate network component analyzers, scanners, and testers.
• Hands-on network troubleshooting experience.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes and best practice
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Must be highly-motivated and have a positive attitude
• Excellent listening and customer service skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Must be a team player
• Must be mature and tactful
• Understanding of SLA terms
• Proven track record working in a global and multicultural environment
