Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Solution Architect with deep expertise in Fortinet Firewalls and F5 Load Balancers to design, upgrade and integrate security networking solutions. You will develop architecture diagrams, ensure alignment with security standards, and guide implementation teams.

The role requires strong IaC skills (Python/Ansible) and experience with API scripts for management and reporting. You will translate complex concepts for stakeholders and stay current with identity security

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in complex network environments with 100+ firewalls.
• Proven track record in design, upgrade and implementation of firewall solutions.
• Experience translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Architect for design, implementation and upgrade of firewall solutions and integrate them with existing IT infrastructure.
• Develop high-level and detailed architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise security architecture and regulatory requirements.
• Provide architectural guidance and troubleshooting support to implementation and operations teams.
• Present architectural decisions and progress to stakeholders and participate in design reviews.
• Collaborate with automation teams for IaC deployments and API-based scripts.

Role & responsibilities

Solution Architecture and Design :

• Architect for design, implementation and upgrade of firewalls solutions, Analyze current business processes, IT infrastructure, and security requirements to develop security of our network solution. Develop high-level and detailed architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and integration designs. Ensure solutions align with enterprise security architecture, regulatory requirements (GDPR, SOX, etc.), and industry best practices.
• Develop detailed network architecture blueprints and integration diagrams tailored to business and technical requirements.
• Establish technical standards, patterns and best practices
• Validation of Document solutions designs , data flows and integration points.
• Provide architectural guidance and troubleshooting support to implementation and operations teams.
• Participate in technical workshops , design sessions and code reviews.
• Participate with implementation team for Automation.
• Present architectural solutions, technical decisions and progress updates to stakeholders.
• Able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Stay updated on identity technologies trends and incorporate enhancements or optimizations.
• Design and supervise the integration of solutions with identity environment.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong expertise on Fortinet Firewalls - including rules management, Fortigate Managers, IPSec tunnels, firewall upgrade Strong expertise on F5 Load balancers, LTM module (APM nice to have) Strong Expertise on Infra As code python/Ansible, proven deployments of API based scripts to manage or reports Firewall or Load Balancers 10+ years of experience in complex network environments with 100+ firewalls Proven experience with Managing rules and managing upgrades on Fortigate environment (with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer) d.
