Job summary

asian hires is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to lead design, architecture, and implementation of our network infrastructure in India. You will work with the Infrastructure team to ensure security, performance, redundancy, and reliability of our network systems.

The role emphasizes design and deployment using Palo Alto Firewalls and Cisco Meraki devices, with certifications like PCNSE and Meraki CMNA/CMNO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in network engineering with Palo Alto and Meraki technologies.
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification.
• Cisco Meraki certification (e.g., CMNA, CMNO).
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
• Experience with network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network solutions using Palo Alto Firewalls and Cisco Meraki equipment to support growing infrastructure needs.
• Manage and optimize Palo Alto firewall deployments, including security policies, VPNs, and threat prevention features.
• Configure and maintain Cisco Meraki networking devices, including switches and access points.
• Monitor network performance and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network solutions align with business requirements and cybersecurity best practices.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, policies, and procedures.
• Implement and manage network automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior network team members.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in network security and infrastructure.

Must Have Skills/Experience:
