Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and manage enterprise firewalls (FortiGate, Palo Alto, Check Point).
• Create, modify, and troubleshoot security policies, NAT, zones and access rules.
• Configure IPSec Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPNs.
• Implement identity-based security policies and Zero Trust controls.
• Ensure perimeter firewall configurations meet regulatory requirements.
• Monitor firewall health, logs, and security events; suggest improvements.
• Deploy and manage ZTNA solutions (Cato, Zscaler, Check Point Harmony).
• Configure web access policies, URL filtering, SSL inspection, and app control.
• Manage SD-WAN on firewalls; ensure ISP failover.
• Configure routing protocols and WAN connectivity; manage Cisco switches.
• Support LAN/WAN/branch connectivity and wireless infrastructure; enforce access policies.
• Deploy networking in AWS and Azure (VPCs, SGs, NACLs, VPN Gateways) and secure cloud networking.
• Support hybrid-cloud connectivity and ITIL-based incident/change management.
• Assist remote VPN users and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Perform RCA for outages and security incidents.
• Participate in infrastructure projects and maintain docs and SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and manage enterprise firewalls (FortiGate, Palo Alto, Check Point)
• Create, modify, and troubleshoot security policies, NAT policies, security zones, and access rules
• Configure and manage IPSec Site-to-Site VPN and Remote Access VPN solutions
• Implement and maintain user‑based policy controls using identity‑aware security policies
• Securely manage perimeter firewall configurations in compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements
• Monitor firewall health, logs, and security events, and recommend proactive improvements
• Implement and manage Zero‑Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions (Cato Networks, Zscaler, Check Point Harmony, etc.)
• Configure secure web access policies, URL filtering, SSL inspection, application control, and user web traffic policies
• Configure and manage SD‑WAN solutions on enterprise firewalls; implement ISP redundancy and automatic failover
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize routing protocols and WAN connectivity
• Configure and manage Cisco Layer 3 switches, VLANs, Inter‑VLAN routing, STP, EtherChannel, ACLs, static routing, OSPF, and HSRP/VRRP
• Support enterprise LAN, WAN, and branch connectivity
• Configure and manage enterprise wireless infrastructure; define and enforce wireless access policies; troubleshoot wireless connectivity and authentication issues
• Deploy and manage networking and firewall solutions in AWS and Microsoft Azure (VNets/VPCs, Security Groups, Network ACLs, VPN Gateways, cloud firewall services)
• Support hybrid‑cloud connectivity and secure cloud network architecture
• Handle incident, problem, and change management activities following ITIL processes
• Support work‑from‑home VPN users and troubleshoot remote connectivity issues
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for network outages and security incidents
• Participate in infrastructure implementation, migration, and upgrade projects
• Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, SOPs, and configuration backups
