Job summary

Republic Media Network seeks a seasoned IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer to manage, monitor, and optimize our IT backbone across offices in India. You will lead system design, security, disaster recovery, and cross-team collaboration to ensure reliable, scalable operations for broadcast environments.

The role requires 5+ years in IT infrastructure, hands-on expertise with Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V), cloud (Azure), and scripting (PowerShell/Bash).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, or systems engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux environments, virtualization, and cloud platforms (Azure).
• Experience with network design, management, and troubleshooting (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash).
• Familiarity with security practices, NRCS, VPNs, and endpoint security.
• Knowledge of database management systems (SQL/NoSQL) and monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.

• System Design & Architecture: design, configure, and implement new IT systems to meet requirements.

• Project Management: lead IT-related projects including upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: work with various teams to align IT needs.
• Disaster Recovery & Backup: implement and maintain disaster recovery plans and backups.
• Documentation: maintain accurate system and network documentation and guides.
• Continuous Improvement: identify and implement productivity improvements in infra and workflows.
• Broadcast IT support: knowledge of Broadcast IT Automation and NRCS.

Key Responsibilities:

• System & Network Administration: Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot company networks, servers, and IT infrastructure.
• Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
