Job summary

Trigent Software is seeking a Network Engineer (DDI & IPAM Specialist) to join our enterprise networking team in India. The role requires 6–11 years of experience and immediate joining or serving notice period.

You will configure and migrate DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and TCP/IP subnetting using Infoblox or comparable platforms, manage Unix/Linux systems, and work with F5 devices. Strong scripting in Python or Ansible is a plus for network automation.

Qualifications

• DNS, DHCP, IPAM configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Infoblox or similar platforms (BlueCat/QIP).
• Unix/Linux administration basics and shell scripting.
• Network automation using Python or Ansible.
• Routing and Switching with change/incident management.
• Vendor coordination for DNS tasks and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Configure, migrate, and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and TCP/IP subnetting.
• Maintain and operate Infoblox/BlueCat/QIP and related DNS tools.
• Manage Unix/Linux systems and F5 devices (LTM/GTM/Viprion).
• Develop and implement network automation scripts using Python or Ansible.
• Oversee routing, switching, and change/incident processes for networks.
• Support audit teams and external vendors on DNS-related tasks.

Technical & Operational Responsibilities

• DDI & IPAM: Core expertise in configuring, migrating, and troubleshooting DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and TCP/IP subnetting.
• Platform Experience: Strong working knowledge of Infoblox (strongly preferred), BlueCat, Nokia/Lucent QIP, or BIND.
• Systems & Load Balancing: Unix/Linux administration basics, shell scripting, and hands-on experience with F5 devices (LTM, GTM, Viprion).
• Automation & Scripting: Working knowledge of Python or Ansible for network automation.
• Network Operations: Solid understanding of Routing, Switching, and Change/Incident management processes.
• Domain & Compliance: Managing domain administration with external vendors and supporting audit teams on DNS-specific tasks.
• Good-to-Have Skills: Basic firewall concepts (Checkpoint, Juniper) and experience supporting global Enterprise clients.
