Job summary

Tekskills seeks an experienced network architect specialized in Software-Defined Access (SDA) to drive segmentation, fabric deployment, and policy-driven networking. You will work hands-on with Cisco DNA Center, CIMC, and ISE, upgrading and managing Cisco solutions, while integrating SDA with security best practices.

Responsibilities include auditing customer networks, delivering recommendations, and guiding architecture across control, border, and edge nodes within complex LAN/WAN environments.

Qualifications

• Expertise in SDA concepts including network segmentation and fabric deployment.
• Hands-on experience with network automation and policy-driven networking.
• Experience with Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) automation, provisioning, and assurance.
• Expertise upgrading and managing Cisco solutions (CIMC, DNAC, switches).
• ISE integration with SDA for authentication, network segmentation and access control.
• Fabric architectures deployment and management of control, border, and edge nodes.
• Proficiency in LAN/WAN, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, Multicast QoS, routing, switching and Wireless.
• Knowledge of security practices for secure network design.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) is a plus
• Ability to audit and understand customers network environment and provide recommendations

• Implement network automation and policy-driven networking solutions.
• Leverage Cisco DNAC for automation, provisioning, and assurance tasks.
• Upgrade and manage Cisco solutions including DNAC, CIMC and switches.
• Integrate Cisco ISE with SDA for authentication and segmentation.
• Design and manage fabric architectures across control, border, and edge nodes.
• Apply best practices across LAN/WAN, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, QoS, routing and wireless.
• Incorporate security best practices into secure network designs.
• Audit customer environments and present improvement recommendations

Role & responsibilities

• Hands-on experience with:
• Cisco DNA Centre (DNAC): Automation, provisioning, and assurance.
• Expertise in upgrading and managing Cisco solutions, including Cisco Integrated Management Controller (CIMC), Cisco DNA Center (DNAC), and network switches.
• Cisco ISE: Integration with SDA for authentication, network segmentation and access control.
• Fabric Architectures: Deployment and management of control, border, and edge nodes including changes in Underlay/Overlay.
• Proficiency in related networking concepts: LAN/WAN, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, Multicast QoS, routing, switching and Wireless technology.
• Knowledge of security practices for secure network design.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) for automation tasks is a plus
• Ability to audit and understand customers network environment using various market toolsets and provide recommendations in line with industry best practice
