Job summary

Tekskills in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Network Architect specialized in Software-Defined Access (SDA) to lead segmentation, fabric deployment, and policy-driven networking.

You will implement and manage Cisco DNA Center automation, CIMC, DNAC, and ISE integrations, audit customer environments, and provide best-practice recommendations.

Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, QoS, routing, and security design is required; basic scripting in Python or Bash is a plus.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Software-Defined Access concepts and network segmentation.
• Hands-on experience with network automation and policy-driven networking.
• Proficiency with Cisco DNA Center automation, provisioning and assurance.
• Experience upgrading and managing Cisco solutions (CIMC, DNAC, switches).
• ISE integration with SDA for authentication and access control.
• Knowledge of Fabric architectures and Underlay/Overlay changes.
• Strong fundamentals in LAN/WAN, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, QoS, routing and wireless tech.
• Awareness of secure network design practices; basic scripting in Python/Bash is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead SDA deployments including fabric, segmentation and policy design.
• Audit customer networks and provide best-practice recommendations.
• Implement and manage Cisco DNA Center automation and assurance tasks.
• Integrate and manage Cisco ISE with SDA workflows.
• Oversee fabric architecture across control, border and edge nodes.
• Apply security best practices in network design and configuration.
• Perform basic scripting tasks to automate routine tasks.

Role & responsibilities

• Expertise in Software-Defined Access (SDA) concepts, including network segmentation and fabric deployment.
• Hands-on experience with network automation and policy-driven networking.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Cisco DNA Centre (DNAC): Automation, provisioning, and assurance.
• Expertise in upgrading and managing Cisco solutions, including Cisco Integrated Management Controller (CIMC), Cisco DNA Center (DNAC), and network switches.
• Cisco ISE: Integration with SDA for authentication, network segmentation and access control.
• Fabric Architectures: Deployment and management of control, border, and edge nodes including changes in Underlay/Overlay.
• Proficiency in related networking concepts: LAN/WAN, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, Multicast QoS, routing, switching and Wireless technology.
• Knowledge of security practices for secure network design.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) for automation tasks is a plus
• Ability to audit and understand customers network environment using various market toolsets and provide recommendations in line with industry best practice
