Job summary

Weekday AI (YC W21) is seeking an experienced NetSuite Techno-Functional Manager for Bengaluru to lead design, configuration and ongoing NetSuite ERP enhancements for a client.

You will translate business requirements into scalable NetSuite solutions, manage customization initiatives, and oversee integrations using SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, REST/SOAP. You will guide admins, developers and consultants to ensure ERP supports finance, procurement, inventory and order processing.

Qualifications

• 7-11 years in ERP consulting, implementation, administration, or technology-driven business systems.
• Hands-on expertise with Oracle NetSuite ERP and its customization/configuration.
• Strong requirements gathering, solution design, stakeholder management and project leadership.
• Knowledge of ERP processes including finance, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, inventory and reporting.
• Experience leading NetSuite integrations using SuiteTalk, REST/SOAP APIs, or middleware.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, configuration, and ongoing NetSuite ERP enhancements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into NetSuite solutions.
• Manage NetSuite customization initiatives: workflows, scripts, custom records, fields, forms, dashboards, saved searches, and reports.
• Provide functional expertise across ERP processes: financials, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, inventory, procurement, reporting.
• Lead NetSuite implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects from requirements through deployment.
• Develop and oversee integrations with third-party apps using SuiteTalk, REST/SOAP APIs.
• Coordinate SuiteScript development with technical teams and ensure best practices.
• Analyze ERP processes and recommend automations to improve scalability and data accuracy.
• Oversee system testing: functional, integration, regression, user acceptance.
• Create functional specs, technical requirements, and solution design documents.
• Troubleshoot NetSuite issues and coordinate cross-team resolution.
• Manage vendors, partners, and external consultants as needed.
• Lead and mentor NetSuite admins, developers, analysts, and consultants.
• Ensure governance, security, access controls, changes, and documentation across NetSuite.

We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Techno-Functional Manager with 7-11 years of experience in ERP implementation, customization, integration, and business process optimization. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in Oracle NetSuite, combined with a solid understanding of business processes across finance, operations, order management, procurement, inventory, and other ERP functions.

This role requires a strong balance of functional consulting and technical capabilities. You will be responsible for understanding business requirements, translating them into scalable NetSuite solutions, leading customization initiatives, managing integrations, and ensuring the ERP platform effectively supports business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, configuration, and ongoing enhancement of NetSuite ERP solutions
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, identify process gaps, and translate business needs into effective NetSuite solutions
• Manage end-to-end NetSuite customization initiatives, including workflows, scripts, custom records, custom fields, forms, dashboards, saved searches, and reports
• Provide functional expertise across key ERP processes such as financial management, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, inventory, procurement, and reporting
• Lead NetSuite implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and optimization projects from requirements gathering through deployment and post-production support
• Develop and oversee integrations between NetSuite and third-party applications using APIs, web services, SuiteTalk, REST, SOAP, and other integration technologies
• Collaborate with developers and technical teams on SuiteScript development and ensure custom solutions follow best practices
• Analyze existing ERP processes and recommend improvements that enhance automation, scalability, efficiency, and data accuracy
• Manage system testing, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing
• Create functional specifications, technical requirements, process documentation, and solution design documents
• Troubleshoot complex NetSuite issues and coordinate resolution across functional and technical teams
• Manage vendors, implementation partners, and external consultants when required
• Lead and mentor NetSuite administrators, developers, analysts, and functional consultants
• Ensure appropriate governance, security, access controls, change management, and documentation across the NetSuite environment

Must-Have Skills

• 7-11 years of experience in ERP consulting, implementation, administration, or technology-driven business systems
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP
• Proven expertise in NetSuite Customization and configuration
• Strong understanding of ERP business processes and system architecture
• Experience with SuiteScript, workflows, saved searches, reports, dashboards, custom records, and custom forms
• Experience managing NetSuite integrations using SuiteTalk, REST/SOAP APIs, or middleware platforms
• Strong requirements gathering, solution design, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills
• Ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team-management capabilities

Good-to-Have Skills

• NetSuite certifications such as SuiteFoundation, Administrator, or ERP Consultant
• Experience with NetSuite OneWorld, multi-subsidiary environments, and international operations
• Exposure to middleware and integration platforms such as Celigo, Boomi, or MuleSoft
• Knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, or other programming languages
• Experience with ERP migration, data transformation, and large-scale NetSuite implementations
