Jobgether, on behalf of a partner, seeks a NetSuite Developer based in India to design, develop, and support a critical NetSuite environment across Finance, Accounting, Operations, Revenue, and engineering teams.

You will blend hands-on development with integration, automation, and ongoing platform optimization, contributing to scalability, reliability, and efficiency while aligning with technical best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, saved searches, dashboards, forms, and workflows.
• Develop and maintain SuiteScript solutions including User Event, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Client Scripts, Suitelets, and RESTlets.
• Build and support integrations between NetSuite and internal or third-party applications using RESTlets, SuiteTalk, REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or iPaaS solutions.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, investigate root causes, and implement reliable, long-term solutions.
• Optimize NetSuite configurations, scripts, workflows, and integrations to improve performance and reliability.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes by ensuring system stability.

Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a NetSuite Developer based in India.

This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, and support a critical NetSuite environment within a technology-driven organization. You will work across Finance, Accounting, Operations, Revenue, and engineering teams to deliver solutions that improve business processes and system performance. The position combines hands-on development with integration, troubleshooting, automation, and ongoing platform optimization. You will contribute to projects that enhance scalability, reliability, usability, and operational efficiency. The environment is collaborative and fast-paced, with opportunities to work on complex enterprise systems and emerging technologies. You will also have the opportunity to influence technical best practices and help shape the continued evolution of the organization’s business systems.

Accountabilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, saved searches, custom records, dashboards, forms, and workflows.
• Develop and maintain SuiteScript solutions, including User Event, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Client Scripts, Suitelets, and RESTlets, to automate and streamline business processes.
• Build and support integrations between NetSuite and internal or third-party applications using RESTlets, SuiteTalk, REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or iPaaS solutions.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, investigate root causes, and implement reliable, long-term solutions to complex system and data issues.
• Optimize NetSuite configurations, scripts, workflows, and integrations to improve performance, usability, scalability, and reliability.
• Support critical month-end, quarter-end, and year-end business processes by ensuring system stability and resolving issues within required timelines.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Revenue, and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, process documentation, deployment notes, and other system records.
• Support release management activities, including sandbox testing, change control, production deployments, and post-deployment validation.
• Recommend and implement best practices related to NetSuite architecture, customization, security, integration, and ongoing support.
• Monitor developments in the NetSuite platform and identify opportunities to introduce automation, improve workflows, and enhance business processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience developing and supporting NetSuite environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with SuiteScript 2.0 and/or SuiteScript 2.x.
• Experience with SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, saved searches, custom forms, roles, records, reports, and other NetSuite configuration capabilities.
• Proven experience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting NetSuite integrations.
• Strong understanding of ERP business processes, particularly those supporting finance and operational functions.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, XML, CSV, and web services, including REST and SOAP.
• Demonstrated ability to investigate complex system, integration, and data issues across multiple business functions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver reliably in a fast-paced environment.
• NetSuite certifications, such as NetSuite Administrator or SuiteCloud Developer, are preferred.
• Experience working with NetSuite OneWorld, multi-subsidiary, or multi-entity environments is an advantage.
• Familiarity with middleware or integration platforms such as MuleSoft, as well as REST/SOAP APIs, is beneficial.
• Experience with SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) and deploying changes from sandbox to production is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL, data mapping, and ETL concepts is desirable.
• Experience partnering with Finance Systems, ERP, or enterprise applications teams is advantageous.
• Familiarity with connected business systems such as Salesforce, Avalara, Snowflake, Kolleno, or similar platforms is a plus.
