Job summary

H&B Hr Solutions is seeking a NetScaler Engineer L3 in Pune. This contract-to-hire role requires immediate joiners and entails middleware administration, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning across production and pre-production environments.

You will work with project managers and technical teams on system upgrades, scripting for automation, and root cause analysis. Strong communication and cross-location collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Citrix NetScaler technology.
• Middleware administration & operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage middleware housekeeping including patch management and upgrades.
• Coordinate planned system upgrades, server rollouts, application upgrades, changes, releases and runtime tasks.
• Provide specialist input to key technical projects.
• Monitor and maintain Middleware Infrastructure in pre-prod and prod environments.
• Develop and follow implementation processes for Middleware projects.
• Document procedures for system/app upgrades before handing to Ops.
• Plan and implement changes in pre-production Middleware environment with business/development teams.
• Engage with customers and senior managers to handle service inquiries and problems.
• Develop automation tools via shell scripts, Python, and other scripting languages.
• Maintain system administration guidelines and logs extraction scripts.
• Keep operations updated for 24/7/365 coverage across locations.
• ProvideRoot Cause analysis reports and process improvement recommendations.

We have immediate openings for NetScaler Engineer L3 with our client @ Pune location. Positions are on contract to hire basis. Looking for immediate joiners who can join us with in 10 days.

Job Description:

Duties and responsibilities

• Manage MiddleWare House keeping including patch management and upgrades. Follow security & compliance AZ standards.
• Work closely with project managers and technical teams for planned system upgrades, server roll out, application upgrades, changes, releases and run the business tasks.
• Provide specialist assistance and input to various key technical projects
• Maintenance and proactive monitoring of Middleware Infrastructure across the pre-production & Production environment.
• Ensure Implementation processes and procedures are developed, implemented and followed for various activities with respect to Middleware Infrastructure Projects.
• Proper documentation of various implementation procedures for system and application upgrades before handing over the systems to the Operations team.
• Work with the business and development teams to plan, manage and implement various changes in the pre-production Middleware Environment
• Experience with interacting with customers, senior managers, and customers, to handle service inquiries and problems.
• Experience in Tunning & performance management
• Develop automation tools by writing/modifying scripts for deployment, maintenance and system monitoring using Linux shell scripts, Python, and other scripting languages.
• Plan, document, review and maintain system administrations guidelines and policies.
• Experience in backend solution, day to day system admin and monitoring, file system management and disk management and creation of shell scripts for the automation of tasks and the extraction of logs.
• Update operations and maintenance documentation for 24/7/365 personnel.
• Support operations across multiple geographic locations.
• Develop solutions to complex technical issues.
• Provide follow-up reports (technical findings, feedback, resolution steps taken) for Root Cause analysis, engineering technical assessment and process improvement initiatives

Qualification, Experience, Technical and Functional Skills

Must Have:

• Extensive knowledge on CITRIX Netscaler technologie
• Performance Tuning of applications from a Middleware perspective
• UNIX/LINUX/Windows Knowledge desirable
• Shell / Python scripting
• Ability to troubleshoot third party applications
• Assists others in resolving complex technical problems and investigating the root cause of problems and recommends smart (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, timely) solutions
• Provides deep specialist consultancy, guidance and support in their specific specialism. Works with other Technical Specialists / analysts as required and ensures any solution within their specific specialism fits with strategic and technical direction
