MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company seeks a senior software architect to lead enterprise solutions across the tech stack, from C#/.NET to AI-infused services on Azure. You will translate business requirements into scalable architectures, drive design workshops, and set roadmaps aligning with enterprise goals.

You will mentor engineers, oversee architecture and code reviews, define standards, and ensure secure, resilient solutions with emphasis on quality and delivery against business outcomes.

• Work with the development team and participate in design workshops to map business requirements to system/technical requirements.
• Architect and guide enterprise software and web app development with technical roadmaps, solution strategies, and delivery objectives.
• Design and deliver AI-enabled enterprise solutions using Azure OpenAI and AI Services to improve processes, UX, automation, and decisions.
• Define AI architecture patterns, governance, and best practices for secure, scalable, compliant solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across the lifecycle, overseeing architecture, progress, risks, and status updates to management.
• Set standards and guidelines to meet quality and guide design, code, and delivery of high-quality products.
• Establish coding standards, design principles, and development best practices; perform periodic code reviews.
• Analyze business and technical needs to recommend optimal technology solutions, feasibility, and PoCs.
• Recruit, mentor, and grow engineering talent through coaching and structured training.
• Promote a collaborative, inclusive, high-performance environment encouraging innovation and ownership.
• Communicate solution designs, architecture decisions, and tech strategies effectively to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Expected to work closely with development team and participate in design workshops to provide technical solutions and mapping the business requirements to system/technical requirements to ensure they are in line with the enterprise architecture.
• Architect and guide the development of enterprise software and web applications by defining technical roadmaps, solution strategies, and delivery objectives that align with business and enterprise architecture goals.
• Design and deliver AI-enabled enterprise solutions using Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Services, identifying opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence to improve business processes, user experiences, automation, decision-making, and operational efficiency.
• Define enterprise AI architecture patterns, governance frameworks, and best practices to ensure AI solutions are secure, scalable, responsible, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle by overseeing architecture and design activities, monitoring progress, mitigating risks, and delivering solution proposals, recommendations, and status updates to management and stakeholders.
• Define standards, guidelines, best practices to meet Quality and guide the team to design, code and deliver quality products.
• Establish coding standards, design principles, and development best practices, and perform periodic code reviews to drive engineering excellence and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to recommend optimal technology solutions, conduct feasibility assessments, and develop Proofs of Concept (POCs) to validate architecture, technology suitability, performance, scalability, and alignment with project goals.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent by providing technical leadership, structured training, and continuous coaching to build high-performing teams and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance work environment that encourages innovation, ownership, and professional growth.
• Communicate solution designs, architecture decisions, technical strategies, and application capabilities effectively to stakeholders, customers, and leadership teams.
