Job summary

MUFG Global Service (MGS) in Bengaluru, Karnataka, seeks an AVP .NET Developer with 8+ years in .NET development and 3+ years in team leadership to design, build, and optimize risk monitoring applications. You will collaborate with risk analysts and senior developers, ensure secure coding practices, and contribute to automation of reporting.

The role requires strong expertise in C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, SQL Server and a proactive, results-driven mindset within an EM/EMEA shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in IT/IS/CS/Software Engineering or related field.
• Experience in the financial services or banking industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, testing, and deployment of .NET applications used for risk monitoring and reporting.

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience: 8+ Years (.NET Development) with 3+ Years of Team Lead/People Management

Shift: EMEA Shift (2:30 PM – 11:30 PM IST) with flexibility as required

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of .NET applications used for risk monitoring and reporting
• Collaborate with risk analysts and senior developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Job Requirements

Bachelors Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience in the financial services or banking industry is preferred.

Essential

• Solid understanding of .NET Framework and .NET Core/.NET 6+
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Razor Pages, and Web API
• Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as jQuery or Blazor
• Experience with SQL Server, including writing queries, stored procedures, and database normalization
• Familiarity with Git and platforms like GitHub, Azure DevOps, or Bitbucket
• Understanding of unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest
• Ability to identify and resolve bugs and performance issues
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML; tools such as Postman
• Experience using Control-M or similar orchestration tools
• At least 3+ years of team lead and people management experience
• Basic understanding of secure coding practices and data protection principles (e.g., OWASP Top 10)

Preferred

• Experience of working with risk systems within a financial institution
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
