Job summary

Kumaran Systems is seeking a skilled DevOps/Systems Engineer in Chennai to support operating systems, cloud platforms, and container orchestration. The role involves hands-on work with Linux environments, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services to enable automation-first, GenAI-enabled solutions.

The candidate should be comfortable with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD, while contributing to secure and scalable

Qualifications

• Linux commands and shell scripting.
• File system, permissions, process management.
• IP addressing and subnetting DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS.
• Firewall and load balancer basics VPN and proxy concepts.
• Branching and pull request concepts.
• Understanding of Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD.
• Docker fundamentals, creating Dockerfiles and running containers.
• Kubernetes basics: Pods, Deployments, Services, Namespaces, kubectl.
• Knowledge of at least one cloud platform: AWS.
• CI/CD basics.
