Job summary

Kumaran Systems is seeking an experienced Angular Developer to design, develop, and maintain rich, responsive web applications. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Angular, strong front-end engineering skills, and experience working in Agile environments building scalable enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience designing and developing SPAs with Angular 8+.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and translating wireframes into components.
• Experience integrating front-end with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and front-end testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain single page applications (SPAs) using Angular (Angular 8+ preferred).
• Translate UI/UX wireframes and business requirements into high-quality, reusable Angular components.
• Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and performance.
• Write clean, modular, testable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with backend developers, QA, UX designers, and product owners.
• Implement unit tests (Jasmine/Karma) and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI defects and production incidents.
• Maintain and improve front-end architecture, code structure, and documentation.

About the Role

• Troubleshoot and resolveUI defects, performance issues, and production incidents.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education:Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  

Core Front-End Skills

• Strong hands-on experience withAngular (Angular 8 or above).
  
• Experience withAngular modules, components, services, directives, pipes, androuting.
  
• Strong understanding ofRxJS,Observables, andasynchronous programming.
  
• Experience withstate management(e.g., NgRx, Akita, or similar).
  
• Familiarity withAngular Forms(Template-driven and Reactive forms) andform validations.
  
• Experience withRESTful API integrationand handling JSON data.
  

Tools & Frameworks

• Experience withpackage managers(NPM/Yarn) andbuild tools(Angular CLI, Webpack).
  
• Proficiency withversion control systems such as Git.
  
• Experience withUI libraries / design systems(e.g., Angular Material, Bootstrap, PrimeNG) is highly desirable.
  

Development Practices

• Experience working inAgile/Scrumdevelopment environments.
  
• Familiarity withunit testing frameworks(Jasmine, Karma) and basic knowledge ofend-to-end testing(Protractor, Cypress, etc.).
  
• Good understanding ofweb security basics(XSS, CSRF, etc.) and performance best practices.
  

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience integrating front-ends with.NET / Java / Node.jsbackends.
  
• Exposure tomicro frontendsand modular application architecture.
  
• Experience withCI/CD pipelines(Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  
• Knowledge ofcloud platforms(AWS / Azure / GCP) and deployment of Angular apps.
  
• Experience withdesign systems, theming, and branding for enterprise applications.
  
• Familiarity withDockerand containerized deployments.
