Job summary

Infosys in Hyderabad seeks an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain modern web applications using Java, Spring/Spring Boot, React or Angular. You will work across the stack, deliver RESTful services, and ensure performance and security.

You will join Agile teams, mentor juniors, participate in design discussions, and contribute to cloud deployments on AWS.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of hands-on Java Full Stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java with Spring and Spring Boot for backend development.
• Practical experience with React and/or Angular for building modern, responsive web interfaces.
• Knowledge of RESTful services, JSON, and web application architecture.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and end-to-end development.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and modern front-end frameworks like React and Angular. Implement RESTful APIs and microservice-based components ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. Develop responsive, intuitive UI components and pages, integrating them seamlessly with backend services. Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA to refine requirements, estimate effort, and deliver high-quality features in iterative Agile sprints. Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following coding standards, code reviews, and best practices. Integrate and deploy applications on AWS leveraging cloud-native services where applicable. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications across the stack to improve reliability and performance. Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions, proposing improvements and new approaches. Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing best practices in full stack development and Agile delivery. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and foster a collaborative team culture. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (BTech, BE, ME, MCA, BCA, MSc, BSc). Experience: 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Java Full Stack Development. Strong proficiency in Java with solid experience using Spring and Spring Boot for backend development. Practical experience with React and/or Angular for building modern, responsive web interfaces. Proven experience in end-to-end application development including design, coding, testing, and deployment. Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and participation in Agile development teams.
