Job summary

Infosys in Hyderabad is seeking a seasoned Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.

You will implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and deploy on AWS, collaborating with product owners and QA in Agile sprints, mentoring juniors, and driving quality through code reviews and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 5-9 years of hands-on Java Full Stack development experience.
• Strong Java with Spring/Spring Boot backend.
• Experience with React and/or Angular frontend.
• End-to-end development including design, coding, testing and deployment.
• Experience with Agile development and RESTful services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and modern front-end frameworks like React and Angular.
• Implement RESTful APIs and microservice-based components ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
• Develop responsive, intuitive UI components and pages, integrating them seamlessly with backend services.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA to refine requirements, estimate effort, and deliver high-quality features in iterative Agile sprints.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following coding standards, code reviews, and best practices.
• Integrate and deploy applications on AWS leveraging cloud-native services where applicable.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications across the stack to improve reliability and performance.
• Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions, proposing improvements and new approaches.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing best practices in full stack development and Agile delivery.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and foster a collaborative team culture.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (BTech, BE, ME, MCA, BCA, MSc, BSc).
• Experience: 5-9 years of hands-on experience in Java Full Stack Development.
• Strong proficiency in Java with solid experience using Spring and Spring Boot for backend development.
• Practical experience with React and/or Angular for building modern, responsive web interfaces.
• Proven experience in end-to-end application development including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and participation in Agile development teams.
• Solid understanding of RESTful services, JSON, and web application architecture.
