Job summary

BVR People Consulting is seeking an experienced NC/CNC Programmer for aerospace component machining. You will develop and optimize NC programs using Siemens NX CAD/CAM to ensure high productivity and first-pass quality.

Ideal candidates have hands-on NX/CAM experience, 5-axis machining, Vericut simulation, post-processing, tooling strategies, and GD&T know-how. Aerospace experience preferred; located in Tamil Nadu.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Siemens NX / UG NX CAD-CAM.
• Strong knowledge of NC/CNC programming and machining processes.
• Experience in aerospace engine components or high-precision aerospace parts preferred.
• Hands-on experience with 5-Axis machining.
• Experience in Mill-Turn / Turn-Mill programming preferred.
• Knowledge of Fanuc / Siemens CNC controls.
• Experience with Vericut CNC simulation.
• Knowledge of post-processing and post-processor development/modification.
• Good understanding of cutting tools, machining parameters and tooling strategies.
• Knowledge of machining materials such as Aluminium, Titanium, Inconel, Stainless Steel and other aerospace alloys will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of machining process planning and cycle-time optimization.
• Understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of zero-defect methodology, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
