Job summary

Accor is seeking a skilled Multi Skilled Technician for our Lucknow properties. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance of hotel equipment and facilities, ensuring guest satisfaction and compliance with safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of hotel engineering experience, strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance, plus basic English and computer skills. This on-site position offers growth within Accor's engineering team.

Qualifications

• Secondary/Higher Secondary education is required.
• ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or related trade.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Multi Skilled Technician or in hotel engineering/facility maintenance.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Basic computer knowledge is an added advantage.
• Good communication skills and basic proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of hotel equipment and facilities.
• Attend and resolve maintenance requests and guest complaints promptly.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair engineering systems and equipment to ensure smooth hotel operations.
• Monitor the functioning of DG sets, pumps, air-conditioning systems, lighting, and water supply.
• Follow energy conservation practices and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of hotel equipment and facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and mechanical systems.
• Attend and resolve maintenance requests and guest complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair engineering systems and equipment to ensure smooth hotel operations.
• Monitor the functioning of utilities such as DG sets, pumps, air-conditioning systems, lighting, and water supply.
• Perform routine maintenance as per the preventive maintenance schedule.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed in accordance with hotel standards and safety procedures.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and daily checklists.
• Assist in installation, modification, and repair of engineering equipment across the hotel.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors whenever required.
• Follow energy conservation practices and support sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the engineering workshop, tools, and work areas.

General Responsibilities

• Be fully conversant with hotel fire, life safety, and emergency procedures.
• Comply with all hotel policies, engineering standards, and safety regulations.
• Attend departmental briefings, meetings, and training programs as assigned.
• Report for duty on time in proper uniform with a professional appearance.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Engineering Manager or Hotel Management.
