Job summary

Synechron in Pune is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong Java and MuleSoft background to design, develop, and deploy integrated solutions for financial services clients.

You will build API-led integrations, design data models, optimize SQL queries, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client requirements in fast-paced environments. Experience with Salesforce integration is preferred and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience with Java.
• 6+ years of MuleSoft experience for real-time and batch integrations.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns (APIs, middleware, web services).
• 4+ years in database and SQL programming.
• Data modeling and schema design; optimize SQL queries.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, and deployment of MuleSoft applications.
• Design API-led integration solutions to meet business requirements.
• Technical design: Designing API layers, data models, and API specifications.
• Development: Developing APIs using MuleSoft platform components.
• Testing: Testing and API performance tuning of MuleSoft applications.
• Collaboration: Working with business and other application teams to understand client needs.
• Troubleshooting: Resolving production issues and MuleSoft application issues.
• Documentation: Creating documentation of operational tasks and procedures for MuleSoft applications.
• Support: Providing support to delivery for technical issues and escalations.

Technical Skills (Category-wise):

• 6+ years of software development experience, including a strong background in Java development.
• 6+ years of MuleSoft experience, with expertise in developing real-time and batch-based integrations between Salesforce and other systems.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns, including APIs, middleware, and web services.
• 4+ years of experience in Database and SQL programming.
• Proficient in data modeling and schema design, with experience analyzing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
