We are looking for an experienced Mid-Level MuleSoft Developer to work on the development and the enhancements. Also work on APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Any Point Studio, Anypoint Code Builder.
Key Responsibilities
- Development: Understand designs, independently develop, and implement APIs and integration flows using MuleSoft Any Point Studio, Anypoint Code Builder and hands‑on experience on Design Center, Exchange and other platform components.
- API Lifecycle Management: Contribute to the entire API lifecycle including design (using RAML or OpenAPI), documentation, versioning, and governance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure quality standards and optimal performance.
- Deployment and Management: Deploy and manage applications across MuleSoft environments (Cloud Hub, Runtime Fabric, or hybrid) leveraging CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Maven and Jenkins.
- Best Practices and Mentorship: Implement security, logging, monitoring, and error‑handling practices, and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
- Troubleshooting: Provide production support and resolve complex integration and API issues in a timely manner.
- COE Contribution: Knowledge sharing, asset development, research and prototyping of new MuleSoft features, tools, and integration technologies.
- Code Quality: Conduct peer reviews and enforce architecture best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- Education: Graduate Engineering Degree in Computer Science (70%+ in academics).
- Experience: Minimum 3–4 years developing APIs and integrations on the MuleSoft Any Point Platform.
- Project Experience: Involved in at least four MuleSoft projects, including at least one from scratch, with agile experience and 2000 hours of attachment per year.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong understanding of API‑led connectivity and SOA patterns.
- Expertise in RESTful/SOAP web services, JSON/XML, and data transformation with DataWeave.
- Experience with common connectors, custom connector development, and error handling.
- Knowledge of integration patterns (synchronous/asynchronous, pub‑sub, batch).
- Proficiency in Java, SQL, databases, Salesforce, SAP, and cloud concepts.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Maven).
- Knowledge of security standards (OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS/SSL) and API Manager policies.
- Certifications: MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 desired; Level 2 preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities for cross‑functional collaboration.
