Job summary

Freelancer in Mumbai is seeking a data/BI engineer to design and optimize SQL Server data pipelines, develop SSIS packages, and build reporting with SSRS and Power BI.

You will work with C# for SSIS, and lightweight Python/PySpark for data processing; exposure to Airflow, Kubernetes, and Vertica is a plus. Strong focus on complex data retrievals, performance tuning, and visualization across Cognos, Tableau, or Qlik.

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL Server 2017/2022.
• Experience in SQL query optimization; complex data retrievals and manipulations.
• Design and development of SSRS, PowerBI, ETL (SSIS).
• C# experience for SSIS.
• Nice to have exposure with data processing pipelining using Python, PySpark, Airflow, etc.
• Cloud development using Kubernetes, micro-services.
• MPP database like Vertica.
• Scripting using PowerShell.
• Data visualization tools Cognos, Tableau or Qlik.
• MDX/DAX, SSAS Tabular modelling.
