Job summary

Vivanet Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd in Mumbai is seeking a Data Engineer / MSBI Developer to design and build Microsoft BI solutions including SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and Power BI. You will support and evolve existing BI applications and create dynamic reports and visualizations.

You will ensure code quality, CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, and thorough documentation, while collaborating with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT experience, with at least 6+ years in MSBI.
• Strong expertise in data warehousing, modelling, historization.
• Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps) and Agile methodologies.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Ensure code quality, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), and documentation. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams. Innovate with POCs, automation, and peer reviews. Mentor junior staff and maintain low technical debt.

Role Requirements

8+ years IT experience, with at least 6+ years in MSBI. Strong expertise in data warehousing, modelling, historization. Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps) and Agile methodologies. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Skills & Knowledge

Mandatory: SQL Server (2017/2022), query optimization, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI, MDX/DAX, C# for SSIS.

Optional/Nice to Have: Python, PySpark, Airflow, Kubernetes, microservices, Vertica, PowerShell, Cognos/Tableau/Qlik.

Strong communication and problem-solving. Team-oriented, collaborative, and leadership mindset. Ability to innovate and adapt in a banking IT environment.
