Job summary

Nokia is seeking an Operations Specialist in India to strengthen NOC operations for Enterprise Networks (Private Wireless LTE). The role requires hands-on fault, configuration, and problem management across multi-domain network elements, with a focus on Nokia 7750/7250 and AirScale products.

Ideal candidates will have 5–10 years of L2 IP & RAN experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and ITIL knowledge. Hybrid/onsite collaboration with cross-functional teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5–10 years of L2 IP & RAN experience.
• Strong understanding of IP v4 & v6.
• Excellent troubleshooting & configuration on Nokia 7750 & 7250 routers.
• Excellent troubleshooting & configuration on Nokia AirScale radio products.
• Understanding of the ITIL Process Framework.

Responsibilities

• Provide incident analysis, troubleshooting and fixes for IP/NOC related issues.
• Manage technical escalations and outages with internal teams and customers.
• Collaborate with GDC, Care, Field & Customer to resolve issues.
• Participate in CAB/CR meetings and validate MoPs and CRs with 100% FTR.
• Analyze KPI degradations and prepare incident reports.
• Mentor the team and automate repetitive tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the NOC Operations, experience in Fault Management, Configuration Management and Problem Management for Enterprise Networks (Private Wireless LTE. This role requires a blend of expertise in Multi-Domain Network Elements.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Resolution & providing technical support for the incidents reported/request for RAN nodes (Analysis, Troubleshooting & fixing the issues reported) on already deployed to end customer/user.
• Resolving & providing technical support for the incidents reported/request for IP Nodes like 7750 & 7250 Routers (Analysis, Troubleshooting & fixing the issues reported) on already deployed to end customer/user.
• Manages technical escalations for technical requests, emergency cases, and outages internally and towards customers.
• Collaborates with stakeholders like GDC, Care, Field & Customer to resolve the issues.
• Participate in CAB/CR meetings. Preparing & validating the MoPs and executing the CRs with 100% FTR.
• Analysis of Performance-Degraded KPIs and their resolutions.
• Analyzing the RCAs, preparation of final Incident Report and the requests, Submission.
• Knowledge Transfer & Mentoring the team.
• Automate the daily Preventive & Repetitive Tasks.

Key Skills And Experience

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree. with mimimum 5 - 10 years of experience in L2 for IP & RAN.
• Good understanding of IP V4 & IP V6.
• Excellent Troubleshooting & Configuration experience on Nokia 7750 & 7250 routers.
• Excellent Troubleshooting & Configuration experience on Nokia AirScale radio products.
• Understanding of the ITIL Process Framework.

Good to Have:

• Certification in CCNA/CCNP.
• L3 Certifications in RAN.
• Certification in ITIL V4.
• Experience with cloud platforms
