Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center India is seeking an MS IT Infra - Azure Administrator at Senior Associate level in Bengaluru. You will manage and optimize Azure environments, support cloud-native apps, and drive secure, cost-efficient operations across global client projects.

You will mentor teammates, implement IaC with Terraform, and automate deployments with Bash/PowerShell while collaborating with DevOps, Software Engineering, and Security teams to ensure high availability and resilient architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of Azure administration experience.
• Proficient in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Managing and optimizing Azure cloud infrastructure to support seamless business operations
• Provisioning, configuring, and maintaining virtual machines, containers, and serverless environments
• Monitoring system performance and resource utilization to proactively address infrastructure issues
• Implementing cloud networking components such as VPCs, subnets, and load balancers
• Utilizing Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform to define and deploy cloud infrastructure
• Automating administrative tasks and deployments using scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell
• Maintaining and enhancing CI/CD pipelines for efficient application and infrastructure deployment
• Designing resilient architecture across multiple availability zones to support business continuity
• Configuring and managing cloud backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions
• Monitoring cloud expenditures and implementing strategies for cost optimization
• Enforcing cloud security practices and compliance standards, including vulnerability scanning and patch management
• Collaborating with Software Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams to support cloud-native applications
• Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving Tier 2 and 3 support tickets related to cloud infrastructure

As an MS IT Infra - Azure Administrator - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure to support seamless operations and availability for clients. Within our Cloud Operations practice, you will focus on provisioning, configuring, and maintaining Azure environments to enhance performance and security. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to analyze complex problems, mentor junior team members, and uphold professional standards. You will build meaningful client relationships and develop a deeper understanding of the business context, navigating complex situations with confidence.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate with Software Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams to support cloud-native applications and facilitate smooth deployments. Your responsibilities will include implementing industry-leading practices for cloud-based systems, managing cloud identity and access, and automating routine tasks using Infrastructure as Code tools. You will also focus on cost optimization and security, confirming compliance with standards and conducting vulnerability assessments. What You Must Have
