Job summary

EY in Pune invites applications for AI Platform Build Manager within EY GDS. Lead end-to-end AI/ML and GenAI projects, mentor a team of 5–10, and drive global client engagements across AWS/Azure GenAI, NLP and Transformer models.

You will oversee project delivery, governance, risk and quality, foster a culture of high performance, and ensure ethical, responsible AI practices across the engagement portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Statistics, Econometrics, Quantitative Methods or related field; advanced cloud/Agentic certifications preferred.
• MBA or equivalent experience valued.
• Relevant 5–8 years in analytical/AI/Agentic Platform Build roles.
• Experience deploying AI/ML on AWS or other hyperscalers; deep data modeling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Direct lifecycle management of advanced analytics, Agentic ML, AI and GenAI initiatives with NLP focus.
• Mentor junior team members and build cloud AI skills.
• Lead delivery of complex AI/ML projects under tight deadlines; exceed client expectations.
• Engage in problem-solving and hands-on technical delivery with high quality outputs.
• Oversee planning and long-term strategic contributions to Data Sciences initiatives.

AI Platform Build Manager

Role Overview:

In the role of AI Platform Build Manager within EY GDS's Managed Services “AI for AI” team, you will be at the helm of pioneering AI/ML and Agentic project deliveries, with a keen focus on leveraging AWS or Azure GenAI, NLP, and Transformer models to drive innovation and solve complex challenges. Your leadership will be instrumental in managing a portfolio of Agentic engagements, fostering strong relationships with global clients and EY stakeholders, and steering your team towards delivering excellence. You will play a critical role in nurturing a team of high-caliber professionals, cultivating a culture of high performance, and maintaining EY's reputation as a leader in AI/ML and Agentic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the complete lifecycle management of advanced analytics, Agentic ML, AI, and GenAI initiatives, with a focus on NLP and Transformer models, ensuring flawless integration with cloud services.
• Act as a mentor to junior team members, providing them with the training and insights needed to become proficient in AI/ML and cloud technologies.
• Display outstanding project management skills, leading the charge in the successful delivery of complex AI/ML projects, adhering to tight deadlines, and exceeding client expectations.
• Engage actively in problem-solving and hands‑on technical delivery, committing to the highest levels of quality and pushing the envelope of innovation.
• Analytical Problem Solving – Possess the ability to dissect problems from a holistic perspective, rather than being constrained by specific techniques.
• Planning: Demonstrate the capacity to make significant contributions to both day‑to‑day operations and long‑term strategic planning.
• Industry Knowledge - Stay informed about the latest developments in Data Science and AI, and adeptly apply this knowledge to a variety of scenarios.

• Oversee ethical AI practices, ensuring fairness, accountability, and transparency in AI systems.
• Expert in AI governance, implementing and monitoring responsible AI frameworks.
• Manage risk and compliance with regulatory and ethical standards for AI deployment.
• Champion ethical decision-making in AI development and operational processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Quantitative Methods, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in cloud/Agentic technologies (AWS, Azure) are strongly preferred.
• An MBA or equivalent experience in business management is highly valued.
• Relevant experience in advanced analytical/AI/Agentic Platform Build roles of 5-8 years
• Demonstrated expertise in deploying AI/ML solutions on AWS or any other Hyperscaler and a deep understanding of advanced data modeling techniques.
