Job summary

Uno Minda Group in Pune is seeking a dynamic procurement professional responsible for sourcing, vendor development, negotiation, and material procurement for manufacturing operations. The role ensures timely availability of materials while balancing cost, quality, and delivery standards.

You will manage end-to-end procurement for direct and indirect materials, identify and develop suppliers, issue POs, and coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, and Stores teams to ensure uninterrupted

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or related field.
• Relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for direct and indirect materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers to meet business requirements.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track order execution.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, and Stores teams for material requirements.
• Ensure timely procurement to support uninterrupted production.
• Monitor supplier performance related to quality, cost, and delivery.
• Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and documentation.
• Conduct cost‑saving initiatives and annual rate negotiations.
• Resolve supplier‑related issues and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
