Job summary

Mphasis Limited is seeking a seasoned Python Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Django, FastAPI, or Flask for enterprise apps. You will craft robust RESTful APIs, participate in architecture discussions, and drive performance, security, and reliability improvements.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, review code, mentor juniors, and help implement CI/CD pipelines, while ensuring coding standards and best practices across the project.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software development with Python.
• Hands-on experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Django.
• Strong REST API development and integration experience.
• Expertise in Microservices Architecture.
• Strong understanding of OOP; asynchronous programming and API optimization.
• Knowledge of API security standards (OAuth2, JWT).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using Python.
