Job summary

Euler Motors in Delhi is seeking a Motor Design Engineer to design and develop electric motors (PMSM, Induction and SynRM) optimized for performance, efficiency and manufacturability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust motor hardware.

The role emphasizes hands-on prototyping, testing, validation, and applying EM, thermal and mechanical analyses using ANSYS Maxwell or Motor-CAD, with a strong focus on problem solving and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• 2+ years hands-on motor design experience.
• Proficient in EM and thermal FEA analysis.
• Experience in prototyping, testing and validation of electric motors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Perform electromagnetic, thermal and mechanical analysis using tools such as ANSYS Maxwell, Motor-CAD, or similar.
• Lead or contribute to the prototyping, testing and validation of motor designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including power electronics, mechanical design and manufacturing.
• Support failure analysis, root cause investigation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in motor design and development.
• Proficiency in FEA tools for electromagnetic and thermal analysis.
• Solid understanding of motor control principles and performance characteristics.
• Experience in prototyping, testing and validating electric motors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
