Partner Company in India is seeking a Motion Graphic Designer for a hands-on role based in Mumbai or Bangalore. You will create motion graphics, animations, and visual content across digital formats, turning briefs into polished outputs while collaborating with creative directors, designers, writers, and producers.

This is a full-time contract with a 40-hour week, offering ₹500–₹800 per hour. You will work on marketing content, social assets, video, and presentations, staying current with trends

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Motion Graphic Designer based in India.

This is a hands-on creative role focused on producing engaging motion graphics, animations, and visual content across a variety of digital experiences.

You’ll turn creative briefs, concepts, and storyboards into polished visual work that communicates ideas clearly and creatively.

The role offers the opportunity to collaborate with creative directors, designers, writers, producers, and project teams on diverse assignments.

You’ll work across formats including marketing content, presentations, social media assets, video, and other digital deliverables.

Strong motion design fundamentals, visual storytelling, and attention to detail will be central to your success.

You’ll manage multiple projects, incorporate feedback, and deliver high-quality work within deadlines and production requirements.

This is a full-time contract position based in Mumbai or Bangalore, with a work arrangement that may vary according to project requirements.

Accountabilities

• Design and produce high-quality motion graphics, animations, and visual content for a range of creative projects.
• Translate creative briefs, concepts, and storyboards into compelling and polished motion design.
• Develop animation concepts, transitions, title treatments, explainer visuals, social media content, and other motion assets.
• Apply strong principles of composition, typography, color, pacing, timing, rhythm, and visual storytelling.
• Collaborate with creative directors, designers, writers, producers, and other project stakeholders.
• Review and incorporate feedback while maintaining creative quality, consistency, and alignment with project objectives.
• Prepare and optimize motion assets for digital platforms, presentations, video, and other required formats.
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and consistently meet project deadlines within a 40-hour workweek.
• Stay informed about motion design trends, creative tools, production techniques, and emerging visual styles.
• Maintain well-organized project files and follow established production workflows, file structures, and naming conventions.
• Contribute original creative thinking and reliable production skills to ensure polished, engaging deliverables.

Requirements

• Demonstrated professional experience as a Motion Graphics Designer, Motion Designer, Animator, or in a related creative role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing motion design, animation, visual storytelling, creative problem-solving, and high-quality production work.
• Solid understanding of motion design principles, including timing, easing, rhythm, transitions, composition, typography, and visual hierarchy.
• Strong proficiency with industry-standard creative and video production software, particularly Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Ability to transform a brief, storyboard, concept, or limited direction into polished creative output.
• Strong visual design skills, creativity, and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain a high creative standard while working within project requirements, brand guidelines, and deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to receive and implement feedback constructively while managing priorities in a fast-paced creative environment.
• Comfortable working full-time on a contract basis from Mumbai or Bangalore.
• Experience with 3D motion design, Cinema 4D, Blender, or other 3D tools is a plus.
• Experience with character animation, illustration, or visual effects is advantageous.
• Experience producing content for social media, digital marketing, advertising, learning, or branded communications is desirable.
• Knowledge of video editing, sound design, color correction, and basic compositing is a plus.
• Experience working with creative agencies, production studios, or client-service environments is beneficial.
• Understanding of motion requirements across different platforms, aspect ratios, and delivery specifications is advantageous.
