Job summary

Zouma Consulting Services - APAC is seeking a creative Video Editor cum Graphic Designer to join our hybrid marketing team in India. The role requires proficiency in editing videos for social media, developing graphic assets, and contributing basic 3D and motion graphics work.

You will independently translate briefs from concept to final delivery while upholding brand quality and consistency across digital platforms.

• Video Editing (40%): Edit high-quality videos for social media and campaigns, handle post-production workflows.

• 3D Design (10%): Create basic 3D visuals and integrate into videos.

Job description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor cum Graphic Designer to join our marketing team.

This is a hybrid creative role for someone who is equally comfortable with video editing, graphic design, basic motion graphics, storyboarding, and 3D design fundamentals.

The ideal candidate should be able to independently take a creative brief from concept → storyboard → execution → final delivery, while maintaining strong visual quality and brand consistency across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing (40%)

• Edit high-quality videos for social media reels, shorts, YouTube, websites, campaigns, and marketing initiatives.
• Create brand films, product/service videos, promotional videos, corporate videos, event videos, and AI-
• Handle the complete post-production workflow, including editing, transitions, typography, sound design, colour correction, and final exports.
• Adapt content into multiple formats and aspect ratios for different digital platforms.
• Deliver polished videos aligned with creative briefs and marketing objectives.

Graphic Design (30%)

• Social media posts and carousels.
• Marketing campaigns and digital advertisements.
• Presentations and marketing collateral.
• Website banners and visual assets.
• YouTube and social media thumbnails.
• Event creatives and promotional materials.
• Brand communication assets and supporting graphics.

Motion Graphics (10%)

• Create motion graphics and animated creatives using typography, icons, illustrations, and UI elements.
• Develop engaging promotional animations for digital campaigns and social media.
• Enhance videos with motion design, visual effects, and animated transitions.

3D Design (10%)

• Create basic 3D compositions, product visuals, environments, and animated elements.
• Integrate 3D assets into marketing videos and digital creatives.
• Support rendering, lighting, camera movement, and compositing workflows.

Storyboarding & Creative Planning (10%)

• Convert creative briefs into visual concepts and storyboards.
• Plan shot sequences, transitions, visual references, and storytelling direction before production.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and campaign visuals.

Required Skills & Tools

Strong working knowledge of:

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator

Working knowledge of at least one 3D tool:

• Blender

Good understanding of:

• Video editing workflows and social media formats.
• Typography, layout, colour, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Basic colour grading and audio editing.

Optional / Good to Have

• Additional 3D modelling, animation, lighting, and rendering experience.
• Motion design principles and UI animation.

AI Creative Tools (Preferred)

Exposure to AI-powered creative tools is an advantage. Experience with one or more of the following is welcome:

• Adobe Firefly

Higgsfield is optional and not a requirement. The candidate should be comfortable exploring new AI tools and integrating them into creative workflows where relevant.

A portfolio is mandatory and should showcase work across:

• Video editing (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, promotional videos).
• Graphic design (social media, campaigns, branding, presentations).
• Motion graphics and animation.
• Storyboarding or concept development.
• 3D work (if available).
• AI-generated creative work (if available).
