Job summary

Micron Technology in India seeks aModule Planning Manager to lead manufacturing planning for module operations, leveraging AI-enabled tools and data-driven insights to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement.

You will manage KPI performance, ensure accurate 0-13 week plans, and coordinate with BE Central Planning, External Mfg, FE SIC, Supply Chain and Procurement to meet demand and implement cross-site actions. Build and guide a team of planners and assistants.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI-enabled tools and data-driven insights to optimize manufacturing planning, improve operational decision-making, enhance productivity, and drive continuous improvement across module manufacturing operations.
• Manage and monitor KPIs for the department.
• Ensure accuracy of weekly plans in the 0-13 weeks horizon to meet demand requirements/Business Plans, in particular within the BE Pipeline Planning Commit window.
• Coordinate site responses to build plans, change requests and ad-hoc scenarios in the tactical 0-26 week horizon.
• Interface with BE Central Planning, External Mfg, FE SIC, Supply Chain and Procurement to ensure optimal tactical response to customer/supply requirements including pull-ins, support requests and cross-site processing.
• Effectively partner with IE, Site NPI team and PE Planning for capacity and product mix adjustments, including support for new product introduction and customer samples.
• Manage inventory daily at starts and manufacturing line, aligned to supply chain design and operational goals.
• Partner with Site operations team and Operations Improvement team to execute production commits and drive continuous improvement in tool utilization, cost and cycle time.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align with corporate objectives and build organizational capabilities of the planning community.
• Build and coach a team of Product Planners and Planning Assistants, engaging the team to their full potential.
