Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Sanand, Gujarat, India, seeks a Global Quality Tactical Planner to support Reliability Qualification & Monitoring by scheduling lab loading activities and ensuring resources and materials are available on time.

You will work closely with Manufacturing and Planning to ensure materials are submitted to lab on schedule and qualification starts without delay, with AI leveraged to optimize planning and KPI tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in planning or related field.
• Fresh graduates are acceptable for entry level.
• Experience with lab qualification processes is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule lab loading for package and device qualification.
• Ensure lab loadings meet turnaround time (TAT) targets.
• Manage readiness of hardware, software and materials for qualification.
• Coordinate calibration and preventive maintenance without disrupting lab work.
• Collaborate on loading forecast with planners and engineers.
• Coordinate sampling plans for RPM using Automated Sampling tool.
• Work with manufacturing and planning on allocation for qualification.

Job Overview

At Micron, we are searching for an outstanding Global Quality Tactical Planner to join our highly skilled team in Sanand, Gujarat, India. As a Global Quality (GQ) Reliability Lab Tactical Planner at Micron Technology, Inc., you will support Reliability Qualification & Monitoring tactical planning by scheduling lab loading activities, ensuring sufficient material & resources, and providing estimate completion date (ECD) schedules to requestors. You will work closely with Manufacturing and Planning to ensure material is submitted to lab on time and qualification starts without delay.

Responsibilities

• Plan and Schedule Lab loading for
  • Package Reliability Qualification
  • Device Reliability Qualification
  • Reliability Program Monitoring (RPM)
  • Excursion, Conversion and Special Work request (SWR)
• Ensure lab operation loadings are on track to meet turnaround time (TAT) cadence as part of Lab Key Process Indicator (KPI).
• Manage New Product Qualification Readiness based on 4M (Man, Method, Machine & Material)
  • Manage readiness of hardware, software and material to ensure it’s on track for the qualification starting on time and meet the required qualification release date.
  • Promptly engage relevant partners to formulate recovery plan for real time issues encountered while preparing for qualification readiness.
• Plan and schedule lab equipment machine downtime in staggered for yearly calibration and bi‑yearly preventive maintenance without impacting lab operation.
• Collaborate with Strategical Planner and Operation Engineer on the loading forecast with respective critical projects.
• Work with Special Work Request Center (SWRC) on sampling plan for incoming lots.
• Tabulate & analyze lab equipment utilization on a weekly basis to understand equipment utilization bottlenecks and plan upcoming projects commitment & roadmap.
• Create sampling plan for RPM using Automated Sampling tool based on loading forecast and provide lot list to manufacturing planner team for lab loading.
• Work with manufacturing Industrial Engineer and Planning team for Corridor Test & Oven allocation.
• Leverage AI to support planning activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in planning – Industrial Engineer, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain or Business AdministrationEngineering.
• Fresh Graduates are encouraged.
• Job Profile(s): Mfg Planner 1.
• Relocation level: (TBD).
