Job summary

Kumaran Systems seeks an experienced Module Lead - AI to drive the design, development, and delivery of AI-powered business solutions. You will work on Python-based AI development, Generative AI, and modern AI architectures across PoC to production.

The role requires 8–12 years IT experience with 5+ years in AI/ML, strong Python, and hands-on Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes. Hybrid work in Chennai/pan-India may apply.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years IT experience with 5+ years in AI/ML solution development.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Exposure to Generative AI technologies including LLM fine-tuning.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Familiarity with multi-agent AI systems and AI governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and implement AI-driven business solutions with stakeholders and teams.
• Develop rapid PoCs and feasibility studies for AI use cases.
• Produce architecture diagrams and solution artifacts; review code and designs.
• Mentor team members and productionize AI solutions across the lifecycle.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Module Lead - AI to lead the design, development, and delivery of AI-driven business solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Python-based AI development, Generative AI, Machine Learning, and modern AI architectures.

The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, architects, and development teams to conceptualize, build, and deploy scalable AI solutions from Proof of Concept (PoC) to production. Candidates must have hands-on experience in AI solution development and a strong technical foundation in Python.

Experience Required: 8 to 12 Years Overall Experience

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to conceptualize, design, and implement AI-driven business solutions.
• Develop rapid Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and feasibility studies for AI use cases.
• Support the creation of technical solution documents, architecture diagrams, and implementation artifacts.
• Build, enhance, and productionize AI solutions while mentoring team members throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability of AI applications.
• Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative approaches.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8 to 12 years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 5 years in AI/ML solution development.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Exposure to Multi-Agent AI systems using Agent SDKs, A2A, and MCP frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies including:
• RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
• Agentic RAG
• Vector Databases
• AI Orchestrators and Planning Frameworks
• Experience fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) such as Mistral, Ollama, and similar models using domain-specific data.
• Exposure to AI evaluation frameworks and AgentOps practices.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working on AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on enterprise-scale AI transformation projects.
• Knowledge of MLOps and model deployment strategies.
• Experience with AI governance and responsible AI practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience mentoring and leading development teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
