Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Applies Systems knowledge to research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions while ensuring system-level requirements and standards are met.
• Performs functional analysis to drive requirements and specifications and to align with hardware/software standards.
• Develops and analyzes system level design including requirements, interface definition, functional/performance definition, and implementation of a new system or modification of an existing system.
• Collaborates with team and other teams to complete project work, including implementing and testing features and verifying system accuracy.
• Develops new and innovative ideas (e.g. IDFs) for a product or feature area.
• Drives triage of problems at the system level to determine root cause and presents testing/debugging results to team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
• 2+ years of 4G/5G/6G systems and associated cellular standards (e.g., 3GPP NR, LTE, LTE, 3G).
• 2+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
• 1+ year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Sr. Staff level and above).
