Job summary

Airbus India Private Limited is seeking a focused Modelling and Simulation Systems Engineer to develop digital models for Aircraft level safety analyses (PRA, FHA, SSA) and to validate them in collaboration with design offices. The role includes report preparation and knowledge transfer through training modules on SE/MBSE practices.

You will work within MBSE and Agile contexts, leveraging SysML/UML, CAMEO, and TeamWork Cloud, while evolving models with change requests and system updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or relevant field with 2–5 years in SE/MBSE.
• Understanding of systems engineering and V-cycle.
• Experience with SysML/UML and CAMEO Systems Modeller.
• Knowledge of IBDs, Activity, BDD, state diagrams, parametric diagrams.
• Model development in CAMEO Systems Modeler with IBDs/Activity diagrams.
• Document generation through CAMEO, VTL scripting.
• Understanding of Functional and Physical Architecture of systems.
• Ability to deliver training modules on SE/MBSE concepts/tools.
• Integrate MBSE into Agile workflows.
• Basic automation in CAMEO, Groovy/Java scripting.
• TeamWork Cloud version control experience.
• Understanding of ARP4754 and Aircraft safety basics.

Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for the development of digital models for Aircraft level Safety Analysis like Particular Risk Analysis. The responsibilities include model development, validation in collaboration with different system design offices and report preparation.

Mandatory Skills

• A Bachelor or Master Degree (preferred) in Aerospace Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or relevant field with 2-5 years of experience in SE/MBSE
• Understanding of the principles of systems engineering and V-cycle
• Experience in usage and understanding of SysML/UML, CAMEO Systems Modeller
• Understanding of Internal block diagrams, Use case diagrams, Block definition diagrams, activity diagrams, state machine diagrams, parametric diagrams etc.
• Experience with Model development in CAMEO Systems Modeler using IBDs, Activity Diagrams, etc.
• Document generation through CAMEO, VTL scripting
• Understanding of Functional Architecture and Physical Architecture of systems.
• Design, prepare, and deliver comprehensive training modules and materials on SE and MBSE concepts, tools, and best practices to upskill technical teams.
• Integrate MBSE activities and work products into the existing Agile working methodology.
• Basic automation in CAMEO, groovy/java scripting
• Experience with TeamWork Cloud version control
• Understanding of Aircraft Systems Basic understanding or requirement management and ARP4754.
• Basic understanding of Aircraft level safety analysis, FHA, SSA, PRA, CS25.
• Working on the evolutions of models based on the change requests, system updates, etc.
• Performing model V&V in collaboration with system designers.
• Collaboration with safety specialists during root cause analysis.
• Ability to formulate methodology and standardize the way of working.
