Job summary

SG India Engineering in Chennai invites a skilled Structural Steel Modeler to join the team. You will create precise 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures and read detailed drawings to translate concepts into technical geometry.

Responsibilities include modeling beams, columns, bracings, stairs, handrails and connections, coordinating with detailers, checkers and engineers, and ensuring high accuracy and timely delivery on projects.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in structural steel modeling.
• Proficient in Tekla Structures and reading structural drawings.
• Familiarity with AISC standards is a plus.
