Job summary

The ePlane Company in India is seeking an MBSE engineer to deploy Model-Based Systems Engineering across an engineering team. The role focuses on building the process and tooling framework that makes system understanding, interfaces, and downstream impact clear for every contributor, with governance and traceability at its core.

Responsibilities include pilots, standards enforcement, digital thread creation, and SysML v2 training to scale MBSE across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years MBSE and systems engineering with hands-on SysML modelling in a live engineering programme
• Demonstrated ability to drive MBSE adoption in a working engineering organisation
• Experience with requirements tracing, interfaces, and change control procedures

• Own the deployment and configuration of MBSE and requirements management tooling; ensure connectivity across the engineering toolchain
• Run structured pilots with engineering teams to show value through interface consistency and traceability
• Define and enforce modelling standards across the organisation: naming, abstraction levels, interface control, and change control procedures
• Build and maintain the digital thread connecting requirements through design to verification evidence
• Design and deliver SysML v2 training programmes for engineering cohorts; achieve broad coverage

Chart the Course for the Future of Flight

We are looking for an engineer for deploying Model-Based Systems Engineering at ePlane. Where the role requires the development of the process and tooling infrastructure that allows every engineer to understand the system they are contributing to, the interfaces they are responsible for, and the full downstream implications of every change they make.

The selected candidate will need to deploy tools, run pilots, build training programmes, establish governance standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Own the deployment and configuration of the programmes MBSE and requirements management tooling; establish connectivity across the engineering toolchain

• Run structured pilots with engineering teams; demonstrating real value through interface consistency, change impact clarity, and traceability

• Define and enforce modelling standards across the engineering organisation: naming, abstraction levels, interface control, and change control procedures

• Build and maintain the digital thread connecting requirements through design to verification evidence clear traceability

• Design and deliver SysML v2 training programmes for engineering cohorts; target full engineering team coverage

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Production experience with a SysML-capable modelling tool (Enterprise Architect, Cameo, Rhapsody, or equivalent)

• Strong Understanding of the systems engineering V-model lifecycle from requirements through to verification

• 4+ years MBSE and systems engineering with hands-on SysML modelling experience in a live engineering programme

• Demonstrated ability to drive MBSE adoption in a working engineering organisation

• Experience identifying and resolving systemic technical problems across multiple systems

• Understanding of SysML 2.0

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding and deployment of Reinforcement Learning based tools

• Prior experience leading end to end through SDLC activities

• Experience with distributed computing and performance optimization
