Job summary

JobItUs is seeking a Mobile App Developer to design, develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for FinTech and healthcare clients. The engineer will work under the Engineering Manager and collaborate closely with QA, DevOps and UI/UX to deliver secure, scalable and polished mobile experiences.

Candidates should have 5–7 years of professional mobile development, strong Kotlin/Java and/or Swift, and experience with Flutter or React Native.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of professional mobile app development experience.
• Proficient in Android, iOS or cross-platform frameworks.
• Strong Kotlin/Java, Swift or Dart/TypeScript skills.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and mobile-backend integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop production-grade mobile applications for Android and/or iOS.
• Build reusable, maintainable and testable mobile components and features.
• Integrate REST APIs, authentication services, payment services and other backend capabilities.
• Implement secure user journeys including login, onboarding, transactions and sensitive-data workflows.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, stability and battery/network usage.
• Collaborate with UI/UX to translate designs into consistent, accessible mobile interfaces.
• Write unit/integration tests and collaborate with QA to resolve defects.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions and Agile ceremonies.
• Support app releases, production troubleshooting and post-release improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow engineering/security standards.

• Design and develop production-grade mobile applications for Android and/or iOS.
• Build reusable, maintainable and testable mobile components and features.
• Integrate REST APIs, authentication services, payment services and other backend capabilities.
• Implement secure user journeys including login, onboarding, transactions and sensitive-data workflows.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, stability and battery/network usage.
• Work closely with UI/UX to translate designs into consistent, accessible mobile interfaces.
• Write unit/integration tests and collaborate with QA to resolve defects.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5–7 years of professional mobile application development experience.
• Strong expertise in Android, iOS or a cross-platform framework such as Flutter/React Native.
• Strong programming skills in Kotlin/Java, Swift or Dart/TypeScript as applicable.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication and mobile-backend integration.
• Experience with Git, unit testing, debugging and performance optimization.
• Understanding of mobile security, secure storage, encryption and authentication practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development and production application support.

Good to Have:

• FinTech experience in digital lending, payments, banking or financial services.
• Healthcare application experience.
• Experience with biometric authentication, OTP, deep linking, push notifications and analytics.
• Experience with app-store release management and CI/CD for mobile.

Domain Context:

The team supports technology products for FinTech and healthcare clients. Relevant exposure may include digital lending, payments, financial workflows, enterprise healthcare applications, sensitive data and high-reliability production environments.

Working Model:

The role reports to the Engineering Manager and works as part of a lean, cross-functional mobile engineering team. Collaboration across engineering, QA, DevOps, UI/UX and product stakeholders is expected.
