Job summary

Idexcel is seeking a Test Automation Engineer in Bengaluru to join the team and drive automation for mobile and web applications. You will leverage C#, Appium for Android and iOS, Selenium WebDriver for web, and REST API testing to build scalable test suites.

The role requires 5+ years in software testing, strong OOP and framework design skills, and familiarity with CI/CD and Git. Immediate joining preferred for this Bangalore‑based position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing and test automation experience.
• Strong programming skills in C# are mandatory.
• Expertise in Appium for cross‑platform mobile automation is mandatory.
• Experience with Android (UiAutomator) and iOS (XCUITest) automation is mandatory.
• Selenium WebDriver for web automation and REST API testing experience is mandatory.
• Knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and test framework architecture is required.
• Experience with POM, BDD (SpecFlow/Cucumber), and data‑driven tests is preferred.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps/Jenkins is a plus; Git knowledge basic.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile and web automation suites for Android, iOS, and web.
• Design and implement robust automation frameworks with POM and data‑driven tests.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and track defects and metrics.
