Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software testing with automation expertise.
• Hands-on Appium experience for mobile automation.
• Strong Java programming and Selenium WebDriver experience.
• Experience with REST API testing and Postman.
• Familiarity with SQL for validating backend data.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for API and mobile applications.
• Create automated test scripts for Android and iOS.
• Perform API validation, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze requirements and craft test scenarios and test cases.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and fix defects.
• Review API specifications to ensure test coverage.
• Validate backend data using SQL queries.
• Generate automation reports and quality metrics.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for API and mobile applications
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for Android and iOS applications
• Perform API validation functional regression smoke integration and end to end testing
• Create reusable maintainable and scalable automation solutions
• Analyze business requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases
• Integrate automation suites into CI CD pipelines
• Collaborate with developers to identify reproduce and resolve defects
• Review application and API specifications to ensure complete test coverage
• Validate backend data using SQL queries

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Software Testing with strong expertise in Automation
• Hands on experience with Appium for mobile automation
• Strong programming experience in Java
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Strong understanding of REST API testing and API validation
• Experience with Postman for API testing
• Good understanding of HTTP methods status codes headers authentication and JSON XML
• Experience testing Android and iOS applications
• Knowledge of automation framework design POM Data Driven Hybrid Framework
• Experience with TestNG or JUnit
• Hands on experience with Maven or Gradle
• Strong SQL skills for database validation
