Job summary

UST in India is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer with 6+ years in test automation and quality engineering. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for mobile and API testing using Java, Appium, REST Assured, and Cucumber.

The role emphasizes building reusable automation components, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and contributing to test planning, estimation, and defect triage as part of an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Quality Engineering / Test Automation.
• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Hands-on Appium experience for mobile automation.
• Experience with REST Assured for API automation.
• Experience with Cucumber / BDD frameworks.
• Hands-on knowledge of WireMock for mocks.
• Experience with Gradle for build/dependency management.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods and status codes.
• Experience with automation framework design and maintenance.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum and software testing lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Java.
