Qentelli LLC is seeking an experienced Mobile Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile apps on Android and iOS. Strong hands-on experience with Appium and Pytest, Python programming, and CI/CD integration are required.

The role focuses on building robust automation frameworks, executing tests on real devices and emulators, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product quality within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation test scripts using Appium and Pytest.
• Automate functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end test cases for mobile applications.
• Perform mobile application testing on Android and iOS devices.
• Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks using Python.
• Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and report application defects.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Automation Test Engineer with strong hands‑on expertise in Appium and Pytest to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in mobile application testing across Android and iOS platforms, Python programming, test automation framework development, and continuous integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation test scripts using Appium and Pytest.
• Automate functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end test cases for mobile applications.
• Perform mobile application testing on Android and iOS devices.
• Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks using Python.
• Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and report application defects.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with Appium mobile automation.
• Good programming knowledge in Python.
• Experience with Pytest for test execution, fixtures, parameterization, and reporting.
• Experience in mobile application testing for Android and/or iOS.
• Knowledge of mobile automation framework design and development.
• Experience with XPath, accessibility IDs, UI selectors, and element identification.
• Understanding of REST APIs and API testing.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with debugging automation failures and analyzing logs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Appium 2.x.
• Knowledge of Android SDK, ADB commands, and Xcode tools.
• Experience with cloud‑based device testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
• Familiarity with HTML test reports, Allure, or similar reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to performance testing or security testing is an advantage.
