Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and architecture of scalable mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript for iOS and Android.

• Work with native iOS and Android technologies (Swift, Kotlin/Java) to build and integrate native modules and bridges.

Senior Lead Engineer - React Native (Mobile Applications)

Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Lead Engineer with strong experience building and architecting production-grade mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript. The role requires practical experience across both iOS and Android, including native code integration, mobile architecture, performance optimization, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and architecture of scalable mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript for both iOS and Android.
• Develop and maintain reusable mobile components, state management, navigation, and application architecture.
• Work with native iOS and Android technologies, including Swift, Kotlin, or Java, to build and integrate native modules, bridges, and platform-specific functionality.
• Drive mobile application performance, stability, security, and maintainability.
• Lead technical decisions, conduct code and architecture reviews, and establish mobile engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable mobile solutions.
• Manage mobile build and release processes, production troubleshooting, and app store deployments.

Mandatory Skills And Experience

• 10+ years of overall software development experience, including 6+ years in mobile application development.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and delivering production applications using React Native and TypeScript.
• Proven experience building and supporting applications on both iOS and Android.
• Practical native development experience with Swift or Objective-C for iOS and Kotlin or Java for Android.
• Experience developing or integrating React Native native modules, bridges, or platform-specific native functionality.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, such as Clean Architecture, MVVM, or modular architecture.
• Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Context API.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in architecture decisions, code reviews, engineering standards, and mentoring.
• Experience delivering and maintaining applications published on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Good to Have

• Experience with Expo, Expo SDK, EAS Build, or React Native CLI.
• Experience with React Navigation or Expo Router.
• Mobile CI/CD and release automation using Fastlane or EAS.
• Experience with mobile security, authentication, secure storage, deep linking, push notifications, and native SDK integrations.
• Experience with automated testing using Jest, React Native Testing Library, or Detox.
• Experience integrating REST or GraphQL APIs and cloud-based backend services.
