Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Application Developer with 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Android and React Native development. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in building scalable, secure, and high‑performance mobile applications, with experience managing the complete application lifecycle, from development and deployment to production support.

The candidate will collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend engineers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, enterprise‑grade mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Android and React Native applications.
• Build scalable, high-performance mobile applications for enterprise and consumer use cases.
• Develop reusable components and maintain clean, modular, and maintainable code.
• Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, authentication systems, third‑party services, and backend platforms.
• Work with native Android capabilities and integrate native modules into React Native applications.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, encrypted storage, and secure API communication.
• Integrate and troubleshoot Firebase services, FCM push notifications, deep linking, analytics, and crash reporting.
• Manage application lifecycle, background processing, offline capabilities, caching, and data synchronization.
• Optimize applications for performance, memory usage, battery consumption, and network efficiency.
• Debug and resolve production issues across Android devices and operating system versions.
• Participate in code reviews, write unit tests, and maintain engineering standards.
• Work with Git-based development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing processes.
• Collaborate with QA teams on functional, regression, performance, and release testing.
• Publish and manage applications through Google Play Console and enterprise distribution platforms.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and deliver timely fixes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
• Good understanding of Android SDK, application lifecycle, activities, fragments, services, broadcasts, and background processing.
• Experience in Android UI development and responsive layouts.
• Strong knowledge of REST API integration and JSON.
• Experience with Room, SQLite, SharedPreferences, DataStore, or equivalent local storage solutions.
• Understanding of Android security best practices, performance optimization, and memory management.
• Experience with debugging, profiling, crash analysis, and production issue resolution.

2. React Native Development

• Strong hands‑on experience in React Native application development.
• Experience with navigation, state management, API integration, and reusable components.
• Experience integrating native Android modules and features into React Native.
• Understanding of React Native build, debugging, and release processes.
• Knowledge of mobile application performance optimization across different devices and OS versions.

3. API and Third-Party Integrations

• Strong understanding of REST APIs and API integration patterns.
• Experience with authentication mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth 2.0, SSO, or similar.
• Experience working with JSON-based APIs.
• Understanding of API error handling, retries, timeouts, caching, and offline scenarios.
• Experience integrating third-party SDKs and services.

4. Development and Engineering Practices

• Strong knowledge of Git and Git workflows.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and release management.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing is preferred.

Good to Have

• Experience with Node.js, Express.js, or similar backend technologies.
• Understanding of backend API development.
• Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD tools.
• Hands‑on experience with Firebase, FCM, Crashlytics, Analytics, and Remote Config.
• Knowledge of iOS development using Swift or Objective‑C.
• Experience with mobile application security, SSL pinning, encryption, secure storage, and VAPT remediation.
• Experience with enterprise applications and large‑scale deployments.
• Experience integrating SSO/SAML or enterprise identity providers.
• Backend: REST APIs, Node.js (good to have)
