Job summary

Nordex Group in Chennai, India seeks an experienced wind energy structural engineer to perform aeroelastic load calculations in accordance with IEC 61400-1, ed.3 and ed.4. The role involves stability analyses, model development and validation across turbine platforms, and preparing certification documentation.

You will analyze results to identify critical load cases and provide engineering recommendations, while building MATLAB-based tools to streamline workflows.

Qualifications

• Master in Mechanical, Civil or Physics.
• 5+ years experience in similar roles.
• Wind turbine loads experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform aeroelastic load calculations for wind turbines per IEC 61400-1 ed.3 & ed.4.
• Conduct stability analyses using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
• Develop, validate, and optimize simulation models for various turbine platforms.
