Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Executive with 34 years of experience to manage business reporting, data analysis, dashboards, and management information systems. The role will be responsible for collecting, validating, consolidating, and analysing data from multiple sources and converting it into accurate and actionable reports for management.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in MS Excel, data analysis, MIS reporting, dashboards, and reporting automation, along with the ability to work with large datasets and coordinate with multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

1. MIS & Management Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly MIS reports.
• Develop operational, sales, financial, HR and performance reports.
• Consolidate data from Sales, Marketing and other departments.
• Prepare dashboards, KPI reports and variance analysis.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting.

2. Data Management & Analysis

• Collect, consolidate, validate and reconcile data from multiple sources.
• Identify data discrepancies and coordinate corrections.
• Analyse data to identify trends, gaps and business insights.
• Maintain structured databases and reporting templates.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity and confidentiality.

3. Excel & Dashboard Management

• Create advanced Excel reports using Pivot Tables/Charts, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS and IF/IFS.
• Develop charts, dashboards, conditional formatting and data validation.
• Use Power Query for data extraction and consolidation.
• Develop automated reporting templates to reduce manual effort.
• Knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.

4. KPI & Performance Tracking

• Maintain KPI and target trackers.
• Prepare Actual vs. Target, MoM and YoY analysis.
• Identify performance gaps and highlight key deviations.
• Provide data-backed insights for corrective action.

5. Process Improvement & Automation

• Identify manual/repetitive reporting tasks for automation.
• Standardise reporting formats and improve reporting processes.
• Reduce turnaround time and reporting errors.
• Maintain reporting documentation and version control.

6. Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Finance, HR and Business Development teams.
• Follow up for pending or incorrect data.
• Understand business requirements and create meaningful reports.
• Handle ad-hoc reporting and management requirements.

Required Skills

• Advanced MS Excel – Mandatory. Strong knowledge of Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, IF/IFS, Charts & Dashboards.
• Power Query – Preferred, Power BI – Advantage
• Basic SQL/database knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong data cleaning, analysis and reporting skills.

Experience & Qualification

Experience:

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in MIS, Business Reporting, Data Analysis, Operations Analytics or a similar role.
• Experience in preparing management dashboards and recurring MIS reports.
• Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
• Experience in reporting automation will be an advantage.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree: Commerce, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Applications, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• MBA/PGDM or relevant analytical certification is an advantage.
